“Arthur’s Shed” by Derek Chambers and “Double Bark” by Diane Sullivan would make excellent textures for backgrounds when combined with other images in Photoshop. I would suggest making a folder on your computer called “Textures” and saving a copy of these types of images for use later on.
Larry has created a page (a sub-page of Photoshop Tips and Techniques in the Member’s Area) giving an example of blending an image and a texture. Thanks Larry.
“Coke Bottles” by Nigel Hemmingway – I love this image! The dark background, the reflexions in the glass and the arrangment of the bottles all make this a very appealing image. Simple but striking. The highlight, to me, is the bottle from a foreign country. Super image Nigel!
