The human eye simply cannot freeze the rapid movement of a hummingbird’s wings.  So Diane has done it for us with this wonderful image.  The details in the feathers of the fanned-out tail, on the body, the wing structure, the delicate colouring – we can see it in this suspended action packed freeze-frame photo.
