Eight keen Bridge Lake Photography Group members set off one hot July morning to begin the trek to the south-eastern area of Washington State known as the Palouse. Why did we want to go there? Because of its unique topography and what the farmers have done with it, the region is a magnet to photographers. Rolling grain and legume fields, old house and barns, red barns, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, the photo ops abound. Many Palouse images were shown at our recent meeting and have now been uploaded to the BLPG website.
August marks the end of our July Theme “Reflections” and some of our members provided their take on the theme. These are shown on the Theme page.
The theme for August is “Shadows and Silhouettes”. More can be found here.
