Heads Up iPhoto and Aperture Users

Apple has announced that it is discontinuing both iPhoto and Aperture apps in favour of a new Photos app in OS X Yosemite (the OS X successor to version 10.x).  You can read about it here.

Meanwhile Adobe has stepped up to “help” iPhoto and Aperture users migrate to Lightroom.  Mind you, their suggestion is that iPhoto and Aperture users switch to the Creative Cloud and receive Lightroom and Photoshop CC for $9.99 US per month.

Of course, you can still buy Lightroom outright …
