Eakin Creek Road Field Trip – Saturday, June 7, 2014

Don’t you just revel in the beautiful pale greens of Spring?

The image above was taken on the Eakin Creek Road on Wednesday, May 28, just a day ago.  But, wait there’s more!  The penstemmon are in flower there as well:

But we’re not done yet!  Eakin Creek is roaring and there are little streams crossing through culverts under the road – in other words, there are lots of opportunities for water photos:

So how about it?  Want to do a field trip on Saturday, June 7th?  Larry will talk about it in detail at our regular June 5 BLPG meeting.

I’m getting out the mosquito dope (and rain gear just in case) because I plan on going.  What about you?
